Transparent tape is indeed convenient, but it is also the “root of all evil” in express packaging: degradation takes hundreds of years, pollutes the recycling process, and leaves consumers with a very poor experience.
Now, finally someone is going to say ‘no’ to it. A new material is quietly becoming the “new favorite” of major e-commerce and express delivery companies - PP non-woven laminated bags . Cainiao has teamed up with Tmall Supermarket to promote original box shipping and recycled cardboard box shipping. Green recycling boxes have been set up at 130000 Cainiao stations in over 300 cities across the country, and a total of 24.06 million express packages have been recycled and reused in the 2023 fiscal year.
