What are the types of fiber composite materials?

This article will introduce a series of fiber composite materials, including electrostatic oil-free fibers, polypropylene short fibers, PP, PE, PET composite fibers, as well as PP non-woven fabrics and fiberglass composite materials. Electrostatic fiber

Air purification specialized fiber (electrostatic fiber)

Specially designed for efficient air filtration, with electrostatic charges, it can effectively capture and adsorb micro dust in the air. It is a key raw material for N95 masks and air purifier filters.

ES short fiber

Suitable for multiple fields such as sanitary napkins, water filtration, oil filtration, and air filtration.

Used for automotive interior panels to enhance material modulus, rigidity, and adhesion.

PP short fiber

Using modification technology and composite spinning technology, multi-purpose fibers with flame retardant, antibacterial and other functions have been developed, suitable for various fields such as automotive interior, non-woven fabrics, geotextiles and filter materials.

Antibacterial and mite inhibiting bedding series

By incorporating antibacterial and mite inhibiting mother granules into oil-free and low odor fibers, non-woven fabrics and bedding with antibacterial and mite inhibiting functions are produced, such as bedsheets and summer quilts. These products are lightweight, warm, corrosion-resistant, and have good breathability and soft comfort, making them very suitable for producing bedding.

Natural Fiber Composites

For PP/glass fiber composite materials, the company’s self-produced oil-free agent PP and glass fiber are mixed, loosened, and needle punched to produce glass fiber felt. It has low water absorption, good sound absorption performance, and extremely high cost-effectiveness. This material is widely used in ceiling interior panels (such as sun visors), which not only has high strength and rigidity, but also has good heat resistance, low temperature impact resistance, corrosion resistance, arc resistance, and low shrinkage rate characteristics. The size is 1600mm × 830mm, and the surface density is 1500g/㎡.
In addition, PP/hemp fiber composite materials are also an ideal choice for achieving automotive lightweighting. Despite reducing the use of chemical fibers, it still faces issues of excessive odor and VOC emissions in car interiors. Through special process improvements, the problem of oil odor has been successfully solved, PP degradation has been reduced, and the diffusion of volatiles has been accelerated, thereby reducing the adsorption of volatiles on the fiber surface. This material is suitable for manufacturing the left and right side panels and cover plates of luggage, with excellent ductility and characteristics suitable for complex boards.

In addition, bamboo fiber PU composite material is also an environmentally friendly green fiber. It is extracted from naturally growing bamboo and has antibacterial, bacteriostatic, mite removing, and UV resistant functions. At the same time, it has strong wear resistance and can be completely degraded. The emergence of this material has contributed to the cause of environmental protection.

PP and bamboo fiber are mixed, loosened, combed, laid, and then molded to achieve a tensile strength of up to 96Mpa and a bending strength of up to 400Mpa. In the frequency range of 100-200Hz, the sound absorption coefficient of this material reaches 0.5, demonstrating its superiority as a car sound-absorbing material. With the increasing awareness of environmental protection, people’s demand for environmentally friendly materials is also constantly increasing. PP/bamboo fiber composite materials are in line with this development trend and have become an ideal environmentally friendly composite material.

Basalt fiber
