Why choose water-based elastic adhesive?
Generally, there are two types of printing inks available for us to choose from: water-based elastin paste and ink. The printing on general non-woven bags uses water-based elastic adhesive, which has a significant concave convex effect after printing, good coverage, water resistance, and no odor at all. Ink is generally used for screen printing of general objects, such as the appearance of metal boxes, etc. The main feature of this printing process is high printing accuracy.
1. Unlike the surface of ordinary objects, the mesh on the surface of fabrics is relatively large. Choosing general ink printing, if the coverage is not good, that is to say, after printing, a lot of the background color of the fabric itself is exposed, the printing effect will be very unsightly. Therefore, because the surface properties of the fabric itself determine that we use water-based elastic adhesive.
2. Water based elastic adhesive is a relatively environmentally friendly ink, and there is basically no odor. Therefore, since we are making Shandong non-woven environmentally friendly bags, we naturally need to choose environmentally friendly ink.
Another situation is that some customers’ orders need to be exported to some European and American countries, so there is a higher demand for the environmental protection function of ink. At this time, we need to be more cautious and avoid being unable to pass environmental testing during import customs clearance in other countries. In such situations, we generally advise customers to choose water-based elastic adhesives with high environmental protection functions. These water-based elastic adhesives not only have low heavy metal content, but also have better color fastness (the ability to adhere to the color of the fabric surface) and washing resistance.
